Description
After picking you up from your hotel, we will begin our journey to Gramvousa and Balos with a short stop at Rethymno to rest. After that, we will arrive at the town of Kastelli, located at the western end of Crete. That's where our boat sails from, heading to Gramvoussa island and the Balos lagoon.
After about 60 minutes boat trip with the cruise ship we arrive on Gramvoussa, where you will have around 1h 30min to walk up to the castle on the hill and take photos of the breathtaking view of the Balos lagoon and for a first swim.
Once we have explored Gramvousa, it's time for the highlights of the trip; Balos lagoon. After the 15' boat trip across from Gramvoussa, you will find yourselves swimming in the crystal clear waters of Balos and stay for about 2h30min. In the meantime the restaurant of the boat will be open so you can enjoy their lunch any time between 12:00 pm and 17:00 pm.
On the way back to the resorts there will be a stop for 20' for rest.
Itinerary
1st stop: Rethymno
We will stop before Rethymno for breakfast and rest for about 20'.
2nd stop: Kastelli

3rd stop: Venetian Castle of Gramvoussa
After about 1hour boat trip with the cruise ship we arrive on Gramvoussa, where you will have around 1h30min to walk up to the castle on the hill and take photos of the breathtaking view of the Balos lagoon and for a first swim.
4th stop: Balos lagoon
